The Women TechEU Programme provides women entrepreneurs in the Deep Tech sector with the opportunity of winning € 75,000 in non-dilutive funding as well as business coaching and support.
Funded by the European Union, Women TechEU promotes gender diversity in deep tech by supporting early-stage startups that are founded or co-founded by women.
Funding and support is provided to startups in the deeptech sector: advanced materials, biotechnology, quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and more.
Applicants must fulfil the following requirements in order to be considered for the Women TechEU program:
A female executive (CEO, CTO, or similar role) must be the founder or co-founder of the firm.
At the time of application, a minimum of 25% of the company's shares must be owned by women.
The business must have been in operation for at least six months but no more than eight years, and it must be registered in an EU Member State or a Horizon Europe Associated Country.
The firm must have raised less than €1 million in equity capital and be in the early stages of development, before releasing a high-fidelity MVP.
Applications are not accepted from businesses that have already been awarded financing by Women TechEU.
Startups that are chosen will receive:
A 75,000 € Grant: This non-dilutive financial boost helps businesses improve their business models, develop their technologies, and get ready to scale.
Tailored Business Development Support: To help startups overcome obstacles in growing, fundraising, and market entry, they will receive individualised coaching, mentorship, and training.
