The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) is organizing its flagship event, INNOVEIT WEEKS, across 10 locations in European from September – October 2022. Each location has a specific theme, ranging from the Green Deal to the New European Bauhaus to the EU Recovery Fund and more. Each Week offers a chance to meet EIT-supported entrepreneurs and innovators, and learn about key EU policies and initiatives.
The INNOVEIT Summit takes place in Brussels on 11 October. As the culminating event of INNOVEIT WEEKS, the EIT Summit will bring together the entire EIT ecosystem – Europe’s largest innovation network. This is a great opportunity to meet EIT-supported entrepreneurs and innovators, Members of the European Parliament, European Commissioners, and leading industry players.
The Brussels Summit will also launch a Flagship initiative in support of the New European Innovation Agenda: Building Europe’s Deep Tech Talent. This is a project to train 1,000,000 talents in DeepTech between 2023 and 2025, strengthening the European talent pool in areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, quantum computing, materials science, and other areas.
