Navigator Consulting is pleased to announce its support for the 21st Cyprus Entrepreneurship Competition. We will be sponsoring the event, with additional support for training in the Business Acceleration programme and judging the competition.
Nicosia, Cyprus: 21 July 2021
The Cyprus Entrepreneurship Competition challenges scientists, startup founders, and entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into real business opportunities. Organised by the University of Cyprus Centre for Entrepreneurship, CyEC connects people with opportunities and helps teams build out their ideas with the support of industry experts and experienced entrepreneurs.
The Competition’s objective is to develop start-ventures or social enterprises that create competitive advantage and innovation. CyEC invites business plans for innovative technologies, processes, business models, or other innovations.
CyEC is open to teams of participants who wish to engage in innovation – driven entrepreneurship and develop their high-tech business ideas into start – up ventures or social enterprises.
To participate, teams need to comply to the following eligibility criteria:
Each team should be composed of a minimum of 2 individuals. All applicants must be over 18 years of age, with at least one applicant residing in the Republic of Cyprus.
Teams should have been working on their idea for less than 2 years, and must disclose in their application any funding already received at the time of submission.
The online submission should be done within the stipulated dates according to the instructions published. No late entries will be accepted.
The CyEC organising committee reserves the right to disqualify any application that, in their sole and absolute discretion, determines it does not fit within the parameters of the Competition.
CyEC allows the participants to develop their business plans in a 3-stage Business Acceleration Programme. This programme includes entrepreneurship seminars and business planning workshops and provides mentoring to all teams that pass Stage 1.
