In 2005, Daniel founded Arranger, a Swiss consulting firm focusing on optimising capital structure and arranging the most convenient financing instruments for medium corporate and property developments.
Daniel has been teaching corporate finance and valuation to future banking experts for which he has been the main expert for the Swiss Federal Banking Expert Degree.
He led loan syndication at UBS Business Banking being responsible for the distribution of loans to corporations, for acquisitions, management buy-outs, including in crossover and distressed situations or to local communities as well as project financing such as waste incinerating or sewage treatment plants.
Previously he was responsible for the start-up, growth and investment financing of Berner Kantonalbank and project manager for the restructuring and liquidation of non-performing loans of Dezennium Finanz AG.
He also managed real-estate development companies in Switzerland and in Spain.
Daniel graduated with a dissertation on Competitive Strategies after his business administration studies at Bocconi University in Milan, and continued his education in wealth advisory and portfolio management at University of St. Gallen and in Financial Management at Stanford University in Palo Alto.
His personal interests include endurance sports. Daniel lives in Zug, Switzerland.
