Cyprus Investment Conference and Exhibition

On 18 – 20 October 2015, Navigator Consulting and Cyprus -Russian Business organised an investment exhibition and conference focussing on investment projects and opportunities in Cyprus.​

​

In March 2013, Cyprus became the fourth Eurozone country to receive emergency financial assistance, touching off a recession. With economic growth resuming and major investments launched, the Best Invest Conference provided investors and policy-makers with a detailed and informed update of investment projects and opportunities in Cyprus.

​

The BestInvest Conference provided a balanced and comprehensive assessment of the Cyprus economy and investment opportunities to the participants of the event. The event was oriented towards practitioners and provided a state-of-the-art review of main issues and opportunities.​

​

The main idea of the BestInvest Cyprus Conference was to attract investors to Cyprus. The event also arranged an Investor Delegation, comprising group of leading investment funds, high net worth individuals and other qualified investors.

​

The BestInvest Cyprus Conference is also the Investment Exhibition. The event provided space for 20 exhibition stands featuring investment projects from vetted investment sponsors.

Conference Organisers

​

The BestInvest Cyprus conference was organised by two partners with an in-depth and impartial understanding of the Cyprus investment climate and economy:

​

  • The Successful Business Magazine was founded in 2010 by the Vestnik Kipri media organization. Successful Business provides a quarterly analysis of Cyprus political, economic, financial and business developments and is considered mandatory reading for all analysts and executives operating in or addressing Cyprus today.
     

  • Navigator Consulting is an investment advisory consultancy with in-depth experience in Cyprus since 1995. Navigator provides a range of consultancy services, including due diligence, investment analysis, financial planning, business planning and risk analysis, and has in-depth experience in tourism, hotel investments, food and beverage, property, renewable energy and other relevant sectors.
     

The BestInvest Cyprus Conference consisted of three main parts: BestInvest Exhibition, BestInvest Conference and BestInvest Field Trips & Invesmtent Site Visits

 

BestInvest Exhibition

An exhibition of investment projects was held at the Four Seasons Hotel. Twety companies were exhibiting a range of projects, including property development, hotel investments, start-ups and other areas.

Presentation of recent investments in hotels and other tourism properties in Cyprus, including trends in hotel investments, prices, occupancy, arrivals, etc.
 

  • Technology Investments
     

Presentation of latest investments in the high technology sector in Cyprus, including start-ups and new ventures.
 

  • Investor Residence and Citizenship Overview: Europe and Cyprus
     

A comparison of European residence and citizenship regimes: procedures in various EU member states. How acquiring citizenship solves fundamental problems in generating and conducting investment business?​
 

  • Economic Development Strategy in Cyprus and Europe.

BestInvest Field Trips & Invesmtent Site Visits
 

Foreign participants went around Cyprus for an excursion combined with inspection tour of the featured investment projects. Two field trips to eastern and western Cyprus were offered to the participants.
 

The event was summed up and ended with a Farewell Party.
